NPS Celebrating 20 Years of Providing High-Quality Print Services

June 2022 sees NPS Print celebrating 20 years of providing high-quality print services across the UK.

NPS started life back in June 2002, from our office on Collingwood Street, Newcastle. Back then we operated mainly as a traditional high street print and copy shop, however, our reputation for quality and service led to rapid growth and a switch in focus more towards our commercial clients. This led to investment in better capabilities and equipment.

Fast forward to 2013, which saw NPS Print move to our current premises on Scotswood Road. Largely thanks to rapid growth and the need for a more bespoke work space to facilitate our larger equipment and growing team. In the following years, NPS Print launched our Brand Sentinel Web 2 Print software to help our clients save time and money whilst maintaining full control over budgets and branding.

The business was acquired in June 2018 by current owners Richard & Julie Bennett, forming the NPS Group. Investments were made straight away in the innovative Xerox Iridesse 6 Colour Digital Press – allowing NPS to print CMYK+ which incorporates a combination of metallic Gold and Silver as well as, White and Clear inks in a single pass. NPS also implemented a new information management system, providing more efficient workflows and better understanding of costs to bring savings to our clients, whilst maintaining the quality and service levels we’re known for.

Atkinson Print joined the NPS Group in January 2019, adding more capacity and direct mailing services to our portfolio as well as a presence in Hartlepool. Further investment has been made via grants, in expanding our wide format capabilities bringing products like roller banners, outdoor display and signage in-house. As well as a Mimaki UV Flatbed which is capable of printing promotional products such as pens, notebooks, water bottles etc.
